The paper presents the findings of studying influence main natural environmental factors on interannual (2017–2018, 2020–2021) and seasonal (from April to October) dynamics Artemia population from large hypersaline lake Kuchukskoye located in Kulunda steppe (Altai Krai, Russia). We studied relationship 7 key indicators structure (abundance, biomass age structure) with hydrophysical hydrochemical indixes (temperature, transparency, pH total salinity). In different years, regime may vary significantly thus affecting brine shrimp indicators. revealed changes zooplankton are mainly due inhibitory effect increased salinity other taxa.
